Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026. Vendor Recovery Intelligence (VRI) provides independent educational tools and recovery-assessment services for Amazon vendors and sellers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.
Information you provide
The free Resolution Tool asks you to describe your Amazon issue. Case details and saved-case history are stored locally in your browser for convenience. They are not automatically submitted to VRI when you generate a plan. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to view locally saved cases. Clearing browser storage or using private browsing can erase them.
If you choose Email My Resolution Plan, your email address, the generated plan, account category, and your separate marketing preference are transmitted to our Cloudflare-hosted endpoint and then to a Google Apps Script service that sends the report through Gmail. This email may contain case details you entered. Avoid including passwords, credentials, personal identification numbers, or confidential information you do not want sent by email.
If you request a complimentary Recovery Assessment, we collect the name, company, business email, revenue range, years using Vendor Central, and message you provide. These details are delivered to VRI by our Cloudflare endpoint and Google Apps Script/Gmail so we can respond to your inquiry.
Security and service providers
Cloudflare provides website hosting, security verification, and abuse-prevention services. Google Apps Script and Gmail process assessment notifications and requested report emails. Technical data such as IP addresses and request metadata may be processed for security and abuse prevention. VRI uses short-lived hashed-IP cooldown records for the email-report and Recovery Assessment features. Email and website infrastructure providers may retain technical records under their own policies.
Website analytics
VRI uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, page views, referring websites and page-load performance. Cloudflare processes this technical usage data. VRI does not add your entered case text, browser-saved case contents, report email address or assessment form fields to analytics events. Marketing choices
Receiving a resolution-plan email does not require marketing consent. Marketing consent is optional and unchecked by default. If you request VRI educational updates or occasional marketing emails, your address is first recorded as pending and is not eligible for marketing until you confirm ownership through the verification email. Confirmation links expire. You may unsubscribe through VRI's unsubscribe process or by emailing [email protected]. An unsubscribe is recorded as an opt-out and a later report request does not automatically remove that suppression.
Retention and deletion
Browser-saved cases remain on your device until removed by you or your browser. Emails and assessment requests may remain in VRI's Gmail account and associated service-provider records until reviewed or deleted. A fixed retention period has not yet been established; contact us to request deletion or information about records we hold, subject to applicable obligations. We may need to verify that a request comes from the correct person.

To ask about access, correction, deletion, or marketing preferences, contact [email protected]. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and the laws governing the business. We do not ask you to provide Amazon login credentials.

We may revise this policy as our services and practices evolve. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
